MEET THE TEAM

Jenny Johnson, Occupational Therapist, Founder
Jenny is the founder and owner of Blossom Therapeutics and has been dedicated to the field of occupational therapy for over 30 years. Her extensive experience—both as a therapist and in life—has shaped her holistic, compassionate approach to care. Jenny believes that the most profound lessons in her career have come from the families she has had the privilege of working with and from her own journey as a mother of two.

A lifelong learner, Jenny is deeply committed to continuing education and has pursued advanced training in a wide range of therapeutic interventions. Her practice as a pediatric occupational therapist has been enriched by mentorships with esteemed experts, including Lucy J. Miller of the STAR Institute, Teresa May-Benson of the Spiral Foundation, and Kristin McNally of the Profectum Foundation.

Jenny’s work is most profoundly shaped by her Floortime/DIR Level 1 and Level 2 certifications through the Profectum Foundation and her Facilitating Attuned Interactions (FAN) certification through Cooper House. She is trained in the administration of the Sensory Integration and Praxis Test (SIPT), completed under the guidance of Teresa May-Benson at the Spiral Institute. Additionally, she completed Level I and II mentorships with Lucy J. Miller at the STAR Institute. Her early training in Neuro-Developmental Technique (NDT), along with specialized education in interventions such as the Safe and Sound Program by Dr. Stephen Porges, the Sequential Oral Sensory Approach to Feeding (S.O.S.), S.T.E.P.S.I. by Tracy Stackhouse, Handwriting Without Tears, The Alert Program, and the Integrated Listening System Program, has further strengthened her ability to serve children and families in Central Oregon.

At Blossom Therapeutics, Jenny leads a compassionate and skilled team of occupational therapists and administrative professionals, all dedicated to providing exceptional care. She finds joy in the ongoing collaboration with her colleagues and in learning from every family that walks through Blossom’s doors.
